Childcare Philosophy
My personal philosophy is that family childcare with mixed ages is the very best childcare environment for children. It is a home away from home where children are allowed to learn and play in a warm nurturing atmosphere. The benefits include:
-Play in a neighborhood rather than a commercial district.
-Same caregiver from birth to kindergarten - and beyond.
-A nurturing home environment rather than an institutionalized atmosphere.
-Leadership skills developed as older children help younger children.
-New skills learned earlier as younger children mimic older children.
-Older children learn to nurture and empathize.
-Inclusion of all children.
-Siblings can stay together.
-Freedom to develop at their own pace.
-Individual attention.
-Less waiting in lines.
